Description
Key Role:
Serve as an information security analyst to support system security configuration, testing, and analyst activities, including security administration, vulnerability assessments, Web application security, certification and accreditation preparation, client reporting, and authoring documentation. Assess security requirements in accordance with federal policies, applying to system and software security configurations. Contribute to security assessments of customer systems, services, and programs with support from senior staff. Leverage experience to analyze customer processes and configurations to verify that previously identified flaws have been corrected and document the results. Implement approaches for industry:specific threat analyses and the generation of vulnerability reports. Develop detailed remediation reports and recommendations for compliance and security improvements across industries based on changing threats. Ensure a consistent approach to information security programs and adherence with best practices.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications::2+ years of experience with IT enterprise operational, protecting electronic: and information:based assets:Experience with federal laws, regulations, and industry best practices for EIT security strategies and technology:Knowledge of IT operational infrastructure, including disaster recovery and backup and data management:Ability to develop and ensure security measures and processes are implemented:Ability to research, evaluate, and recommend technical solutions:Ability to develop plans and execute complex efforts involving the application of advanced technological expertise:Ability to show tact and effective judgment in dealing with confidential and sensitive material:Ability to obtain a security clearance:BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications::Experience with Cybersecurity, information assurance, or risk assessments:Experience with risk management framework, including NIST 800:37, ISO xxxx1, IEC xxxx3, or NERC:CIP:Experience with evaluating security vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies for networked and non:networked systems:Experience with the evaluation of information security principles, DoD STIGs, and C and A processes for systems:Cyber Security Certification, including Security+, CEH, CISSP, or SANS
