Cyber Security Analyst, Senior-xxxxxxxx Description Key Role: Serve as an information security analyst to support system security configuration, testing, and analysis activities, including security administration, vulnerability assessments, Web application security, certification and accreditation preparation, host and network forensics, threat intelligence, client reporting, and authoring documentation. Assess security requirements in accordance with federal policies, applying to system and software security configurations. Contribute to security assessments of client systems, services, and programs with support from more senior staff. Leverage experience to analyze client's processes and configurations to verify that previously identified flaws have been corrected and document the results. Implement approaches for industry-specific threat analyses and the generation of vulnerability reports. Develop detailed remediation reports and recommendations for compliance and security improvements across industries, based on changing threats. Ensure a consistent approach to information security programs and adherence with best practices. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: -5+ years of experience with Cyber operations, including incident response, host and network forensics, system security penetration testing and vulnerability management, security information management, or security event management-Experience with testing tools, including Nessus, Metasploit, nmap, BurpSuite, Kismet, Nipper, Wireshark, Kali, SIFT, FTK, and Encase-Experience with configuring, administering, and troubleshooting operating systems, including UNIX, Linux, Windows, and Mac-Experience with analyzing results, writing assessments, and test reports-Ability to obtain a security clearance-BS degree in Information Assurance, CS, or Computer Engineering Additional Qualifications: -Experience with Cyber network and host forensics, including pcap, memory, and file system analyses-Experience with the project management framework-Knowledge of databases, applications, and Web server design and implementation-Possession of excellent team leadership, development, and client relationship skills-Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and at least 2 other recognized technical Cyber Security Certification preferred Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
